I created a token on PandaTool and someone bought it. How do I realize (cash out) the funds they paid?
It depends how the buyer purchased:
-
Peer-to-peer (1:1) purchase — If you and the buyer executed a direct swap (they sent you funds off-chain or directly to your address), the funds are already in your account/wallet; there’s nothing to “cash out” on-chain.
-
Purchase via a DEX liquidity pool — when someone buys your token from a DEX pool, the payment (e.g., USDT) goes into the pool. To extract value you have two main options:
• Sell tokens held by you on the DEX — swap your tokens back to the pool’s quoted asset (e.g., USDT).
• Withdraw liquidity (remove your LP) — pulling your LP tokens allows you to remove the underlying assets from the pool. This is equivalent to exiting the pool’s share (note: removing liquidity returns proportionally both sides and may realize impermanent loss).
Additional notes:
• Removing liquidity or selling on DEX triggers on-chain transactions (gas fees) and may realize gains/losses taxable in many jurisdictions. Consider KYC/tax rules.
• If the token has owner privileges (e.g., a “withdraw” function or custom treasury), follow your contract’s documented mechanism; otherwise, standard DEX methods above apply.
