I want to create a token that supports minting (i.e., the supply can be increased). Can PandaTool help?
Yes. PandaTool supports mintable tokens across multiple chains. “Mintable” means the total supply is not strictly capped and the contract owner (or an authorized role) can mint new tokens.
Examples / links in the original doc:
• BSC/ETH multi-function tokens with mint/pause features (PandaTool’s simpleControl tool):https://pandatool.org/#/coinrelease/simpleControl?lang=en-US
• Solana tokens with mint/freeze features (Solana PandaTool):https://solana.pandatool.org/en/create
• Sui tokens (mint, blacklist, update metadata):https://sui.pandatool.org/
• TON tokens with mint/update capabilities:https://ton.pandatool.org/
If you are unfamiliar with using the tools mentioned above, you can also join our discussion group: https://t.me/pandatool_en
Additional notes (risk mitigation & best practices):
• Mintable tokens are fine for many token models, but they present counterparty risk to holders (centralized minting = potential for dilution or rug). Disclose minting rights clearly in token docs and consider safeguards:
– Use a multisig for minting/owner privileges.
– Use a timelock for minting operations.
– Publish minting policy and cap (e.g., maximum future minting or scheduled release).
• Consider on-chain governance or community oversight for long-term trust.
