Suppose the tokens in the base pool are all purchased—what should be done? What will happen?
From the logic of an AMM (Automated Market Maker), the situation where “all tokens in the pool are bought out” will never actually occur. As the number of tokens in the pool decreases, their price will gradually increase. The token amount in the pool will asymptotically approach zero, while the token price rises infinitely toward infinity.
Therefore, the token quantity in the pool will never truly reach zero — it will only decrease gradually. As the price goes higher, the amount of tokens buyers can obtain becomes smaller and smaller. If you want to increase the number of tokens in the pool, you can do so by adding liquidity.
Important: Never transfer tokens directly to the pool address, or the USDT (or other paired assets) in the pool will be drained.
